Shelly was a kind soul and we are so sorry for your loss. We knew Shelly for a brief time ( May 2014 at Sunnehanna) and you most likely know that Shelly really cared about children. Shelly took special care to make the children in her company feel important. In fact, Shelly was dressed in a very pretty suit during our daughter's pool party in August and while all of the kids were tie-dyeing t-shirts on the lawn at Sunnehanna, Shelly came over and wanted to help with the process. She didn't care about her clothes, she had a huge smile on her face and depicted so much care and kindness for the children.
Our world is empty today with the loss of Shelly and there is no doubt that she is with her guardian angels and at peace now.

Shelly was not only my friend but I considered her like a sister. She had the biggest heart and a smile that would light up a room. I will forever remember the moments Tammie and I shared with her. I have no doubt that her Dad was waiting at the gates of Heaven for her. God bless Shelly and everyone that knew and loved her <3

I am so sorry, Tam and Mrs. G. She was always one of my buds -- and I just ran into her during hunting season -- she was with her uncle. I will be keeping you all in my prayers. She will be sorely missed.

Barb, Tammie, Mike and family:
There are no words. Only know that many thoughts and prayers are being sent your way, for strength in this most difficult time, for comfort for broken hearts, and for peace in the midst of turmoil. Lean on each other, lean on friends and family, and lean on the Lord, for He will hold you up and help you through this valley. Your family, including Shelly, hold a very special place in my heart and I wish there was more that I could do or say. She was beautiful, inside and out, and I am glad I had the years with her and your family that I did. Fly with the angels Shelly......

I've been sitting here staring at the computer screen trying to send you some words of condolence but my mind is blank, my vision is blurred, my hands are shaking and keep missing the correct keys. I need to tell you what a wonderful, caring and charming person Shelley was. She was an amazing manager at the Kay's store in Carlisle. Her professionalism, her beauty and her style just completely turned the mall upside down. People would come and buy things just to have an excuse to talk to her. She touched so many lives in a positive way. She was a wonderful, wonderful person. I just can't believe she's gone.

Shelly and I worked together a few years back at the Kay Jewelers in Lancaster PA. She was the manager, and graciously handed the reins to me in 1996, and stayed on to assist in the transition. I will always remember her bright smile and hearty laugh, and the care and concern of how she treated the team and customers alike. I am saddened by her passing and hope that her family and friends find comfort in their happy memories of Shelly. Our families prayers are with you in this most difficult time.
